IF A CLIENT USES A MODEM, WHO DO THEY DIAL?
http://rbsdrive.com/rbstech/TS100105.HTM
Article Number: 100105
Software: RBACKUP
Question: If a client uses a modem, who do they dial - their ISP or the RBS
Server directly?
Answer: Either. The RBackup Client can automatically dial the regular ISP, get an
Internet connection, and send backups to your server through the Internet. When finished,
it drops the Internet connection and hangs up the phone. The RBackup Client can also dial
directly to your RBS Server, in case you want to offer backups that do not go through the
Internet.
